LUCID

Exactly two weeks ago it was my fifteenth birthday. Yikes... a two week late post!

I owe a huge thanks to my group for the lovely cake and lollies and thanks for the people in all my classes who sang a hearty happy birthday even when I begged you all not to. It was embarrassing but thank you all nevertheless ;)

On the Saturday I had a small birthday dinner party with a Mexican theme. Just so I could have tacos. And nachos. And burritos. And churros. Damn, I ate a lot... Oh and so we could all dress up and pull out sombreros and maracas. Emily and Miela were the most stunning cacti I had ever seen and even Frida Kahlo turned up for some sparklers and bonfire marshmallow fun.

We went crazy with a Donkey shaped pinata -->

And sparklers --> (showcasing our artistic talent of course

We played truth or dare around the fire and took some long exposure shots with Miela (possibly dangerously) waving around candles, when we had finished the three whole packets of sparklers. They were "slightly" blurry but we had so much fun taking them. I had one of the best nights ever and I have my amazing friends and my family to thank for that,

Love you all,

- N xx

P.S. Hope all year 12's are feeling okay! It was heartbreaking to see you all crying after the Farewell assembly and I wish I could have given big hugs and chocolate to all of you. Stay strong - we'll miss you all so much but you all have amazing and unique futures ahead of you! xx
