Konichiwa Fawnlings!

I'm writing to you across the ocean in the blossoming mountains of Japan. As the sakura bloom my creative side grows as the overwhelming cinematic surroundings and location continue to amaze and inspire me. This environment gives me this want for exploration and a multitude of creative outlets.

Other big news - I have started high-school! Today marks the beginning of the second week and gosh! everyone is so unbelievably nice, helpful & understanding; especially in terms of communication barriers. They aid me as I shift through my limited vocabulary and (to their amusement I'm sure) switch from Japanese to English and back to Japanese. Thank you to everyone here for being such accommodating, friendly, funny people!

And to my friends at home - thank you for the lovely messages. I'm sorry this post is a little belated, I've been adjusting to the long school hours and time difference. It's so beautiful here and I hope with these photos I was able to give a little visual on what it's like.
